Project Description

Our project at 42 Conduit Street involves a comprehensive refurbishment and retrofit of a Grade II Listed building located in the heart of Mayfair. This includes the fit-out of office spaces on the first to third floors and a residential unit on the fourth floor.

All of our design development was in full sympathy to the Grade II listing of the building, with new bespoke joinery panelling designed to match the existing heritage panelling, as well as preserving the existing ceilings and fireplaces throughout.

A key objective for our client was to enhance the EPC rating to a B. We accomplished this by improving the U-Values of the walls and roof. This work included installing a new roof, replacing windows, and transitioning from gas-fired boilers to an Air Source Heat Pump system.

Key Features

  • CAT A Fit-Out to a Grade II listed building
  • Working closely with heritage consultants and the Local Authority Conservation Officer to ensure all heritage features were protected throughout the works
  • Thermal upgrade to achieve specified u-values and EPC-B rating
