Project Description

This 6 storey multi-tenant building constructed in 1934, required structural repairs, a new roof, thermal upgrade, building services installations and complete architectural reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing spaces.

This project successfully transformed a dated, commercial council office into a modern mixed-use building, upgrading the existing office space and adding a Grade A lettable office, as well as creating 19 residential apartments.

The building was occupied throughout construction works, requiring careful management planning and close liaison with all stakeholders involved. The project was commended for Best Change of Use of an Existing Building award.
