Project Description

Storey’s Field Centre is an award winning community facility and performance arts venue located at the heart of Eddington, North West Cambridge. Within the centre, the main hall holds up to 180 people, designed to meet a range of both spatial and acoustic needs. The nursery school forms three sides of a cloistered court, with the community centre forming the fourth side.

The building uses a passive ventilation system, with low/no energy usage, efficient maintenance and low zero CO2 strategy, with almost negligible running costs for cooling.

Winner of 14 major National Awards, this landmark community and performance arts venue resonates with the architectural features of central Cambridge, providing an inspirational and vibrant centre for the local community.
